The time of year has come when the ordinary is mass-produced, painted red and stuffed into heart-shaped packaging. Everyone is drunk in love with hallmark cards and passionate gestures. Don’t let be misunderstood, I like Valentine’s day. I’m obsessed with romance. Truthfully, I am a hopeless romantic and will possibly make any typical situation into a Woody Allen screenplay — starring Annie as myself, of course. However, I’m just not all that into the store-bought gifts.

P.S: to all who live in Orlando, stick around to find out about, All Bouquet, one of the most unique gift ideas this Valentine’s day!

Does anyone else think Valentine’s day themed gifts are a little tacky? Can we all just leave all the obligatory love cards back in elementary school? I was bullied endlessly. The only gift in my handmade cardboard mailbox was a letter filled with pity and wonderful handwriting from my teacher. So no, chocolates and carnations, aren’t my favorite thing in the world but a handmade bouquet wouldn’t be half bad.

Note: get $5 off when you mention my blog when you order!

Somewhere along the line, we all agreed that flowers and a box of chocolate had a universal meaning of love. But what if that box of chocolates doesn’t convey how much you like Billy (as a friend). Or, what if you just want to impress that asshole friend that brags all the time (in a non-sexually affiliated way). Forest Gump was wrong, life is not a box of chocolates and Billy will certainly not understand.

I’ve been in a relationship for almost 5 years and not once have I come home to a box of chocolates, a hallmark card, or roses. What did we get each other instead? A leather jacket, cool shoes, craft beer, and picture jars. Sadly, this year I’ll be spending it away from my love but by the side of my closest friends instead.

What do you get a friend without feeling like you’re hinting that you’ll eventually try sleeping with them?

The possibilities are limited and I almost gave up until I came across, All Bouquet. An all bouquet shop Orlando shop that sells elegant handmade bouquet of all things healthy, vegetative, and one of a kind. Get anything from lemon, ginger, & mint to hot chili peppers and you can even ask for a personalized set.

The Orlando-based bouquet makers, Chiara and Evygnia, got together to make this Valentine’s the most unique for you, your loved ones, and the amicable relationships in your life.

They hand-pick organic fruits, vegetables, and herbs to romantically put together a beautiful bouquet to that will become the most memorable gift you’ll give.

Can you imagine heading to a party and handing the host a bouquet filled with lemons, ginger, and mint along with a bottle of vodka to make Moscow Mules? Or bringing a bottle of champagne with a bouquet of strawberries? Also, how impressed will the  asshole friend who brags too much be when you bring such a heartwarming gift for everyone to see?

Valentine’s day is coming up! If you live in Orlando, be sure to check out All Bouquet’s Facebook page or Instagram to order your bouquet. Don’t forget to mention Delirium Style to save $5 off your order!

I am all for non traditional gift ideas, I think it’s a great way to keep things interesting. Flowers and chocolates is so cliche anyway.
